PURI BEACHES

Puri Beach is another attraction of Puri besides the famous Jaganath Temple. Puri is at a distance of 60 km from Bhubaneswar and 35 km from Konark. The golden sands of the Puri Beach stretch for a long distance. The particularly striking stretch of the beach is opposite the Marine Parade, which is comparatively clean, unpolluted and quiet. The Puri Beach is shallow and is ideal for a long walk near the sea. One can swim near the beach, as the waves can be dangerous.
